Director, School of Christian Studies, Robert Menzies College, Macquarie University and Honorary Associate, Faculty of Education and Social Work, University of Sydney, Australia.

Grant was formerly Director of the Anglican Education Commission, Diocese of Sydney. He has taught in Anglican and state schools and has worked as a consultant with schools in developing strategic directions and in reviewing their Christian ethos and teaching programs. He is Chair of the NSW Inter-Church Commission on Religious Education in Schools and is a member of the Anglican Schools Corporation. His research interests have been in Australian religious history and educational policy and is writing a biography of Frederick Barker, second Anglican Bishop of Sydney.
