About the Journal
The Journal of Christian Education seeks to relate the Christian faith to all
aspects of education at all levels in public, independent and faith-based
schools, universities and colleges, and church and community settings as
indicated in its statement of purpose.
The purpose of this international journal is to consider the implications
of the Christian faith for the entire field of education, and to examine its
contribution, particularly to educational policy making, leadership,
teaching and learning, curriculum and resources, and teacher
development.
Contributions are welcomed from researchers, scholars, graduate
students and reflective practitioners who wish to contribute to the
philosophical, theological, historical, sociological and empirical
understanding and current practices in any field o education. Such
contributions may be in the form of theoretical articles, reports of
research, developments in curriculum and practice, literature reviews,
and book reviews. All contributions are subject to peer review.
The journal was founded in 1958 and an enlarged and redesigned version
occurs from Volume 50, 2007.
